Fresh from their mammoth tour across Europe with Mindless Self Indulgence, The Red Paintings are set to return to the UK in February 2014. Throughout November and December, led by frontman Trash McSweeney, the band captivated audiences with their spectacular shows of live art and music. Each one featured unique visual projections along with human body and canvas painters who joined them on stage to create artworks that reflected their music and energy.
This latest set of dates is in support of their epic debut album’ The Revolution Is Never Coming,’  which was recorded and mixed with the late Bryan Carlstrom (Alice in Chains, Rob Zombie) and released on 30th September through Graphite Records (LostAlone, Mojo Fury, InMe). The band have played festivals such as Big Day Out, Great Escape, Y-Not and toured internationally with acts including art-rockers Dresden Dolls, neo-punks Mindless Self Indulgence, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead and post-rockers Mogwai but February 2014 will mark the band’s first ever headline UK shows. Latest single ‘ Streets Fell Into My Window’ is released on 24th Feb
As with every tour the band are on the lookout for local artists and volunteers to become a living work of art as one their human canvases. Email –
