Baltimore duo Wye Oak have revealed their lead single ahead of the highly anticipated April 28th release of album Shriek.

The new track, entitled Glory is available to stream online right now and has received critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic, and it’s clear to see why.

The track highlights beautifully the drastic new approach to songwriting developed by the highly talented duo, showcasing perfectly the distinct vocals of Jenn Wasner and those powerful melodies carried over from their 2011 album Civilian.

Glory is indeed ludicrously addictive, and following on from a highly successful SxSW, the duo head into their current tour on the crest of a wave.

After exploring new ways of writing music separately but simultaneously, and whilst working with other people, Wye Oak members Jenn and Andy have developed sounds which, when fused together have produced the duo’s most personal album yet. New single Glory is testimony to this!

On top of performances at this year’s Coachella festival, Wye Oak have also added a full run of European dates:
