After a short hiatus, The Faint has returned with Doom Abuse. Their last LP, Fasciinatiion, took several years to write and produce and ultimately led to the band members taking an extended break to pursue other projects in 2009.
Now, the electro-rockers are back with a different aesthetic. Taking a mere three months to create, the new record was mixed by their long-time collaborator Mike Mogis and many of the tracks were conceived live in the recording studio.
Doom Abuse is out April 8th. The Faint will be touring the album in the United States from April 24th.
