Pell has released the visual for ‘Eleven:11’ with Fuse TV. The Fred Germany directed music video features Pell performing at the camera while his female guests – each representing a distraction from music – show their admiration.
Pell showcases his double-time flows as he reflects on the past, present and future of his life. A spacey, yet resolute instrumental by Tomas Barfod and Jeppe Kjellberg accompanies his introspective bars, creating an unexpectedly dreamy, peaceful mood.
“This is unlike most of the visuals people have seen from me, but I wanted to keep the same overall vibe from past ones,” explains Pell. “I feel that the video shows who I am as a person and the things I was influenced by while making the record.”
‘Eleven:11’ has already received praise from various critics, with FADER Magazine saying “all signs point to good things,” going on to refer to the music as “dream-rap.” Complex Magazine also stated Pell “showcases serious lyricism and singing abilities on the song.” Fans can get ‘Eleven:11’ on Pell’s upcoming album Floating While Dreaming to be released this Spring.
Pell just finished performing at SXSW this weekend and is now going on to tour the US with Yonas on the “Up All Night Tour”, before going on to tour with electro-pop group Cherub on “The Blow’d Tour.” Known for his “high-energy shows and versatile rap style” (XXL Magazine), the tour is sure to be a success.
