Australian rap princess Iggy Azalea will embark on a national tour commencing April 23 in Boston and wrapping up in Seattle on May 22. The tour also includes dates in Washington D.C, Los Angeles and Canada.

Azaela was catapulted into the limelight in 2012, when she became the first female rapper to be featured on XXL magazines annual “Top 10 Freshman” cover issue.  Collaborations with T.I and producer/DJ Diplo culminated in the release of two successful mix tapes and lead to a coveted slot opening for Beyoncé on the Australian and Asian legs of her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour”. Her latest offering “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX is taken from her forthcoming album The New Classic.

Azaelas tour will no doubt be a jam-packed, energetic live performance exuding the showmanship the rapper is now famous for.

“I can’t wait to see my fans and perform the songs on my new album for the first time,” says Iggy.

After the hugely popular 2013 tour featuring the XXL Freshman Class, Monster Energy and Idol Roc Entertainment have teamed up with Live Nation to showcase one of hip-hop’s brightest new stars. “We’ve long admired Iggy and now it’s time for the whole world to see and hear what they’ve been missing out on” exclaimed tour producer, Steve Glazer (Idol Roc Entertainment).
