Manchester four-piece MONEY have amassed quite a following over the past year or so, selling out gigs throughout their native city before they had even released a single.

Now ready to announce themselves to a wider audience, the band have recently released their debut LP Shadow Of Heaven. Described rather cryptically as a soul-searching voyage in an inevitably answerless age, and shadowed by MONEY’s strange yet creatively exuberant trademark live performance, the captivating foursome are not averse to self expression. A result of the group’s grounded northern roots and the musical heritage of their native Manchester. “It’s an extraordinary, poetic city. You feel like you can do anything here”, explains frontman Jamie Lee.

Ranging from powerful piano ballads such as Goodnight London to the slower, deeper Hold Me Forever, the LP represents the creative diversity of Lee and bandmates Charlie Cocksedge, Billy Byron and Scott Beaman.

The band’s following continues to grow as the momentum behind the LP builds amid rave reviews nationwide. Stay tuned for live dates.
