“Broken Generation” is one of the new songs available on RESTORING FORCE: FULL CIRCLE, a special reissue of the album Restoring Force, which hit No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and No. 1 on both the Billboard Top Independent and Top Rock Albums Charts. OF MICE & MEN (vocalist Austin Carlile, guitarist Alan Ashby, drummer Valentino Arteaga, vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley and guitarist Phil Manansala) were recently added to this May’s star-studded Rock In Rio lineup in Vegas, where they’ll join a lineup that features artists such as Metallica, Linkin Park and Deftones. That’ll follow an international tour that begins February 21st at the Soundwave Festival in Australia, then a headlining tour of Europe, before returning to the States for April’s Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville in Jacksonville.
The band just returned home from an international arena tour with Linkin Park, dates that often saw OF MICE & MEN vocalists Austin Carlile and Aaron Pauley each joining Linkin Park onstage for songs during the headliners’ set. It was during that tour that OMAM shot a live performance video of “Identity Disorder,” . The two bands were scheduled to tour the States, but dates were scrapped when Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington suffered a foot injury.
Since the 2010 release of their self-titled debut, Of Mice & Men have blanketed rock radio airwaves, garnered critical acclaim and amassed over 20 million YouTube views and close to 5 million social media followers on the strength of an electrifying sound and live show. The latter has seen them play to packed-house crowds on headlining tours around the world and key slots on top fests, including this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival, where they were part of a star-studded lineup that included artists such as Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and many more.
