Laura released her self titled debut EP last November and since then has seen the momentum steadily build behind her. This time last year Hughes was playing her first live shows, now she is heading towards 2 million YouTube views, attracting international label interest, has a national Irish tour and her first UK dates.

Laura will perform her first shows outside of Ireland on May 17th on the Isle of Man and the famed Ronnie Scotts in London on May 20th.

Hughes’ songwriting is mature far beyond her years, she captures moments of beauty, loss and hope in a way that makes them feel like frozen scenes from a play. But for many people, it is her voice that first turns them from listeners into fans. She sings with a glacial purity that effortlessly drifts over several octaves and send a shiver down your spine.
