Having recently released their much acclaimed, brilliant, Kerrang!Magazine album of the week ‘The Good Youth’, completed a sold out (and mostly upgraded) UK headline tour and had recent single ‘Sometimes’ be placed on both the Radio 1 and XFM play lists, BLITZ KIDS can now announce their biggest EVER UK headline tour throughout late September/October 2014 to include a date at Belfast’s Oh Yeah Music Centre on Thursday 25th September and Dublin at the Academy 2 on Friday 26th.
Jono Yates (guitar): ‘This is the biggest headline run we’ve ever done, so we’re going to bring our f****ng A game. It’s an incredible feeling to have a crowd full of kids screaming our words back in our faces. That’s why we booked this tour! We can’t wait to share some sweat with our fans again after a summer of festivals.
We’re fucking everywhere this year and we’re loving it.’

Live wise, BLITZ KIDS will be off touring Europe with Deaf Havana after these headline dates. These follow up recent tours/shows with All Time Low, Arcane Roots, Canterbury and slots on Takedown, Slam Dunk and Groezrock Festivals.

Previously, the band played last year’s SXSW, have recently undertaken UK and European tours with the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, All Time Low, Young Guns, Tonight Alive, Kids In Glass Houses, Mayday Parade, Mallory Knox and Canterbury among others. They have also played the UK’s biggest and most prestigious festivals in the last couple ofyears, such as Download, Sonisphere, Slam Dunk and Hevy.
