Lanarkshire seems to be a real breeding ground for musical excellence at the moment.

Hot on the heels of Vigo Thieves are The LaFontaines,Scotland’s hardest working band and fresh from a hugely successful tour European Tour with Watsky.

The tour brought the band massive recognition and thousands of new fans as the lads headline their own sold out show at Glasgow’s O2 ABC.

Formed in 2010, Scotland’s The LaFontaines take guitar infused hip hop and pop to create a stylised sound which is refreshingly unique.

The band’s lyrical content is often a social commentary on today’s Scottish culture while still maintaining a traditional pop format.

Gerry Cinnamon and the truly magnificent Vukovi warm up the crowd nicely for the main event, The LaFontaines.

The atmosphere was electric when the stage curtains were closed.

The cowd were shown a small video building up the atmosphere to a near explosive tension!!

The LaFontaines are welcomed onstage to massive applause.

Singer Kerr Okan prowls the stage like a caged animal has a look at the audience as a massive grin fills his face …. sold out!!

With a new album on the way the crowd were treated to new material as well as the favourites including ‘We Are Masters Of Our Fate”, ‘Under The Storm’, ‘Sin City’ and ‘Paper Chase’.

The LaFontaines smashed it but when you are as good as they are you cant fail.

The fans love them.

The press love them.

Why are they not snapped up??? Beats me!
