Just over a week since their last jolly to Glasgow the lads from All Time Low were back for seconds and one thing that can be certain there’s going to be fainting, screaming, puking and of course the usual throwing of bras!!! Opening the show were Irelands finest Only Rivals and received an astonishing reception from the ultra young ATL fans who embraced the band and saw them leave the stage with massive grins on their faces…The LaFontaines management must be congratulated on a master stroke by getting their band a support slot at what for them is a home game, headed by the enigmatic Kerr Okan the Fonts pulled off a major coup d’etat by hijacking the massive crowd and winning them over with their excellent fusion of rap and indie pop music.
As expected the roof was blown when All Time Low take the stage led on by Alex Gaskarth, the screaming was almost unbearable even with ear plugs in!!! Opening with Do You Want Me (Dead) the place erupted…the pit staff working overtime pulling floppy teenagers out of the crowd overcome with emotion and would now miss the show!!!
All Time Low rapid fire into a 21 song setlist comprising of songs from their five studio albums stretching back almost eight years, all the crowd favourites were there Lost In Stereo, Weightless, A Love Like War, Time-Bomb and of course Dear Maria Count Me In…although at times it was hard to hear anything due to the deafening screams.
Despite being massive and selling out most of their shows All Time Low have still to make a major impact on the UK Charts which is strange because judging by their live performances these guys should have a stream on number ones under their belts….Great show despite my advancing years!!!
